I applied the design through a complicated (except it isn't) method of sketching out the scarab with a pencil and filling it in with a sharpie marker. I then used an eraser to remove any pencil lines and scuffed the design with some '00 steel wool. Easy peasy and looks great.
Thank you, I'll absolutely share the Scale length. It is 21 inch scale length, The neck is 14 inches long from the nut to were it joins the body. The neck at the nut is 1 1/8th inches wide, and at the body the neck is 1 1/2 inches wide. Hope that helps if you'd like anymore information just let me know.
