Satin Blues

My latest 4 string fretted. The box is a Jamie Garcia with all imprints filled, primed and sprayed satin black followed with a matte clear. The neck is mahogany with bocote fretboard. The bridge is zebrawood because I misplaced the scrap of bocote left from the fretboard (doh!). Single coil pickup with volume and tone controls. My Texas themed gits continue with The Great Seal of Texas inlayed into the headstock. Sorry for the lousy pictures, it really looks better than this!

  • Nice build!
  • I picked up a bunch of these laser-cut stars at a craft fair this spring.  I veneered this one with mahogany to match the neck wood.

    Thanks,again, UJ!

  • Beautiful.  Like the sound hole cover, proportions and finish.
