The actual Fret markers are Mother of pearl inlay in which I used a Dremel with a router attachment and routed out the spots that the markers would go. After getting them to the right size and depth I super glued them in place with Gorilla Glue Super Glue and the right now I use wood filler around the edges to fill in the spots where the hole was bigger then it needed to be. The blue stripe along the edge of the fret board is actually a sticker that is made to look like abalone. Once I have all this in place and stained to the right color I spray at least 5 coats of clear cost over it to keep everything tin place. If you done clear coat the stickers can come up with a lot of use.
