25 1/2" scale, Fretless, cherry neck/heel, solid brass screw fret markers, maple fret dots, bass pup pickup, Lindell Signs yardstick fretboard and handle base. This is only the 2nd fretless I've built.

    Imatation is the sincerest form of flattery right? :-) If it wasn't for "stealing"/borrowing ideas from people on this site I couldn't function lol.

    I like both the pups and the humbuckers John, I suppose if I had to pick one I would take the humbuckers. I think they "pickup" a little more, not much but enough that even a deaf guy like me can notice. The pups are still great pickups, for one they don't cost near as much as the buckers. I just finished a build with a nice gold Epiphone humbucker and it sounds really nice, will post a few pics shortly.

    OH!!!!!   Found my way back for a second look.   Liked it before, but now seeing you put some of the yardstick under the handle.  That measures up to even more.   Huh.   I wonder if I saved a bit of yard stick from my build with one.   I am not above stealing the idea. 

    How do you compare the bass mag pup to the humbuckers?  I have a set of the double hummers I have not used.

    Thanks John! I like the fretless a lot! It still picks out great, it just takes a little getting used to no fret lines :-)

    I didn't know ya'll used yards over there Jabes, I suppose you can get about anything on the net these days eh?

    We have both yards and metres but we don t get promotional stuff like this.I see on net you can get these made by the hundreds

    That is very cool, right down to the handle.  After all your fretted builds, how do you like playing this one?

    leather  belts   look   great too  ;-)

    more do  for sliders  ,,   but  can   get a cool  mutted  effect when  fingering  too  .
