to get 2 degree , use a pertractor and mark off 2 degree on some cardboard then cut it out , offer the cut-out to the template , raise the far end of the template until the angle of your template / jig aligns with the cardboard 2 degree cut out then slide a bit of wood or what ever you have between the underside of the Template / Jig and the top of the guitar body (cigar box ) , then clamp it in place

Thanks very much Jay , i'm suprized you don't use the router since you have one , i do like to use handtools myself but sometimes it just takes so long to do by hand alone !
the main thing to remember with router Templates / Jigs is the jobs only as good as your jig spend time making a jig and it will repay you for sure
