Roots 2 inside and Fret board

I hot glued a piece of heavy burlap to cover the hole, and then painted it with black enamel to cover any highlights.You can also see how I connect the rod piezo directly to the jack.The Walnut, after wiping with Howard's Feed and Wax attracts my eye to it. This is the last piece of old table I'm able to use as a head stock.I use Commercial Sign Vinyl for Fret markers.

    I've always signed and dated on the inside of the box on my handmade CBGs. This is the day that I put it together for the final time, screw the box closed, and add the strings. If I re-do it in the future, I will often add that date to it.

    The small black item is the tailpiece - a tin snip trimmed aluminum leaf fold from a veggie steamer, flattened and then covered with the same commercial sign vinyl as the fret markers.
