Scale length....hmm, i'll have to measure it...if i remember correctly i believe it was 60cm from the nut to the bridge. I decided on the length purely for aesthetic reasons. I just liked more length on it...it just looked right, more elegant. I also like the look of a bit of space between the last fret and the body. A ukulele usually has twelve frets but i got to 9 and it looked finished so i stopped there.
Well, i'm off to visit both of your pages. I just discovered this site today and am having a ball meeting other builders and seeing their creations....fabulous!
