Hey, I used a reso from Ole Lowe, an CBN member, $25.00. I does sit low enough so when u add the biscuit bridge it is just above the box. From there you can adj the saddle accordingly. So really no issue. I did add a Masonite ring to hole the reso cone flange flat on the box. It is not flat without and looks better with it. I used small hex bolts with rubber washers inside and out. Let me know if you want a detailed pic. I would take some detailed measurements before cutting a hole! Also, you need to consider the top bracing. I am posting a new reso on the site this morning. good luck and let me know how it goes. jh

Hi, question about the resonator you used.
How does it translate as far as the action? would it be possible to drop one of these into a store bought ukulele and have the action still be low?
Thanks.
