I just took the clamps off. I'll get some oil on the fretboard here in a little bit and string it up and we'll see how it sounds. I've got high hopes for it.
This is a section of a rafter from my 4th Great Grandfather's log home in Possumneck, Mississippi. I took a small section of the rafter and decided to use it for the neck of a license plate resonator CBG. The wood itself is over 200 years old, not to mention the incredible sentimental value.
