She's finished! Purple heart head and fretboard with a cheap Chinese mag pup sitting about 1/16" below the license plate. The neck is made from a section of 200 year old loblolly pine rafter from the demolished log house of my 4th Great Grandfather, Henry Musselwhite (also ancestor to Charlie Musselwhite) from Attala County, Mississippi.
I used electric guitar strings and she sounds alright acoustically. If I used acoustic strings she'd be louder. But when I plug her in she can really scream!
