  • Thanks for the comments... the paint lid is the resonator.... it makes it super simple build that allows for a typical neck thru construction... good for "intro to reso CBGs" build... if you would like to hear it, look up my vid.  "Farmer Jones and the Mule"....

  • Is there a cone or anything inside? or do you rely on the paint lid for the metallic sound?  Cool neck!

  • the dots are my fav. learning... got it from Diane in Chicago about a year ago. They are plastic guitar pics cut out with a ordinary paper punch... give you perfect 1/4 inch circles... then cut your hole with a fostner or bradpoint bit. cleans it up nicely... in this case with dark (walnut) fretboard, I needed something bright, so used a yellow pic.
