  • Sorry sir, good to know. When you're right you'r right. Just don't know how to increase volume without feedback. so another pot in line?

Her's one for you nobody has been able to answer. On all my guitars, I add a piezo/transducer with a separate switch. Even with a well grounded bridge, There is some hum/light static from the amp when not playing. I turn on the piezo circuit, wired to the same jack, and the hum disappears. Total silence. ? Can't figure it out.

  • Time for that old song “She was only the electrician’s daughter, but nobody could resist ‘er”

  • A potentiometer is a variable resistor, 30+ years electronics repair, stompbox & amp building experience, I’d like to think I learned a few things :D

  • Pot lowers output, not resistance. I guess unless you know something I don't. Reduce feedback regardless of pot setting.

  • Kool, but I would have used a pot?
