yup .  strap lock , pick , ... patch cord label ,...  ear bud   wrap, .. .. makes a great single  key fob too . 

 Not the best , but good in a pinch .. ( pardon the pun )

Worked pretty good for me until it rotated in my hand and the open part hooked onto a string.  

Strap lock, hunh?  May try that too, B..Q.

 Tried it. It worked for me as well as anything else...

 Still can't play with a pick.
