I thought it was pretty cool until a I built a wood top big tenor and it sounded louder and better. Then it was a Lowe cone reso - but that first rebuild was difficult to modify for the cone and some of the top wood was too thick. it never sounded as good as I expected it to.This rebuild was more than just a new top. I had to raise and reset the neck. I replaced a bass mag pup with a rod piezo and equalizer.First impressions are good after first stringing it up (with the same strings as with the Lowe reso).

  • No wonder this one has the Uncle John signature look. It has the “improved” mods and painting fixeruppers in every area. The Masterpiece.
