    No ,,,,,I took the inside plate out......It is one of the best sounding boxes that I have ever used....

    Sweet...Thats the next one I'm going to build too. Did you take the emblem out of the inside or leave it? I decided to take mine out and cut it down and use some of the border for fret markers. small squares for the 3,5,7,9...and the wider rectangle for the 12.
