yup these guitars " selling feature" was that they were guaranteed never to split .. or crack .. and could withstand any climate change .. making them great for touring .
the big secret scientific 1950's non splitting formula ???? ..... th top was laminated .;-)
ps ..... the same gallotone company that made these guitars , was an african record company .

Yup. Like it before and a bit more after. I had heard of Gallotone, but did not know that history.
