I used a reproduction Bush radio as a starting point. I fitted a Guitar Fuel MAH5 amp and a Marshall 10 watt, 6" speaker. I also permanantly fitted a 12v 2.1 mah battery with charge points worked into the small brass breakout plate on the side. A Marshall amp handle, wood stain, wax and a set of rubber feet finished it off. The amp unit and speaker make this 1' high amp a real SCREAMER!

It does sound AWSOME! That MAH5 is a fantastic unit. This makes the ideal pub amp for me. It'll run for hours and hours with that battery and it holds its own in loud environments. So pleased.

That is fantastic, just love the look you got with that nice patina and I bet it sounds better than it looks!!
