punch paint lid reso

angle view,overlayed the cut out over the paint lid. changed the bridge,didnt change the tone,its still kinda bright sounding.

    Mate what can I say thats sweet, I was wondering what to do about making my own spider over the lid, this has inspired me! Artful and eyecatching way to go reconciling the appearance of the original box.

    yep jim i did that on one i built out of a cohiba i liked the fact that you could still open the box after the whole build was finished. gonna try that again soon i think. thanks fer the comment man.

    Hey BC these are awesome looking.... I agree it's nice that you were able to incorporate the artwork. Since I used a resonator cover on my last reso I just turn the box around and put the artwork on the backside. Nice Job - Jim

    i have done this before B T Cohosh and liked the way it turned out so i tried it again. here is the other one---

    hope you like this one it has a speaker frame in it and a mason jar lid fer the resonator.

    Ok. You may be my new hero. Another example of something so simple I just couldn't see it. One of the things I don't like about reso projects is all of that beautiful box lid that disappears.
