I had to stay up late to finish this one. A 22.5" scale, 4 stringer. It has a piezo pick up with a hand shaped "vee" profile red oak, walnut and mahogany neck with mahogany inlaid fret markers. The "Punch" cigar box is unusual that has a raised medallion logo. This one will stay home for a few days before going to the 1820 Mercantile in Williamstown, Ky.

LOL at on the back. I don't think they are always needed. I have has some without sound holes that had good sound and volume. I've usually made LPGs with a player's side sound hole and like the sound coming out at me. I built a CBG this fall with a pretty and vintage cigar box that I did not want to change the look of. Player side sound hole. Worked out well. Happy Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the comments, John. I am always at a loss for coming up with a good-looking sound hole design. As of late I have started questioning if they are needed at all. I am tempted to start putting them on the back.

Very nice. I think that you envisioned and created the nearly perfect and best sound hole for this box and guitar.
Interesting box Ron! Haven’t seen one quite like it. Definitely a find!
