  • I smoked several Chevets. I had a Chev Impala that ran on 45 weight oil. Blue streak....

  • LOL, on the smokin' Vega banjo.  I had a Chevy Vega years  ago.  It smoked too.

  • Uncle John, i played with a different band tonight. "The Merry Little Band", an Irish dance band. I play 4 string banjo and enjoyed it a lot. We used to play quite regularly, but drifted apart for a while. We had a blast tonight and now i want to play more banjo. It felt real good. My Vega was smokin. .... :^)

  • Good songs!  :)

  • Uncle, i'm playing a 50's Old Craftsman arch top. Neil Engelbret on accordion, Bill Taylor on sax (hiding behind me), Karin on fiddle (her grandfather's), Doug Fairchild on flattop guitar, Tom Hollenhorst on Mandolin (far right) and Bruce Puera on tin drum and shakers. Tony's slapping his homemade box guitar. Karin is a great vocalist. She did Pennies from Heaven, Walking after Midnight and Rank Stranger. Dennis sang San Fransisco Bay Blues, and The Blues my Naughty Sweetie Gives to Me. Doug and Tom sing also.

  • Looks like a good group of nice folks.  I see a cbg in the back.   Nice git you have.  Tell us a few songs you played.
