:) Yup, having the saddle about two inches further up and away from the tail end allows for more top vibration, tone and volume. At least theoretically. Look at a good factory acoustic as an example.

i just figured out what you were saying (measure the saddle to be further in on the box, not so close to the edge. That is something to consider... thanks - I have picked up on so many little things in the short time I've been here - I can't wait to apply some of it to my builds in the future (always looking for the "even better" :-) )

Great f holes. Super nice box. I do like the saddle more inboard for (in theory) better acoustic sound and volume.
