Pot Lids and Decibel Meter

Pot Lid 1 has the red trim. Open G tuning. Pot Lid 2 has the green trim and is open E.I play home made instruments with folks playing factory instruments. I need loud home mades to be heard.Today I played an open chord on several instruments at the same distance from the decibel meter. Keep in mind that the home mades I chose are loud ones.     These turned out great Unc! I like to use open E tuning on the longer scaled builds

    Pot Lids are for ever, life isn't only a lot of decibels it's also looks, utility and history.Nice work and good builds! I also love semi-scientific results, optimism and your creativity!

    Uncle John, your big guitars really do go to 11 . Like 10 but 1 louder :-D

    Actually I wonder how many decibels the Gibson dreadnought would produce if you screwed a pot lid to the top ? ;-)
