I hadn't seen that set of workshop posts before there. It looks even simpler than the noisy cricket or minty amp circuits, but that is from vague memory. Looks like a great place to start.
Thats where most of it came from, although I improvised a lot of it. I dont have a very advanced knowledge of electronics, and I thought it was pretty fun. I added a volume knob with a built in switch, and have a distortion that increases with the volume, and gives almost an octave fuzz effect. I want to add a output jack so it can be used as a distortion box with my 6 strings. If you run into any trouble with your amp build dont hesitate to message me!
