I cut the hole, and mounted the Black Ice Pup in the box lid today---this is the first six string I have built in a long time, and only the seventh one ever out of 50+ builds.

I drilled a 1/2" hole at each end, cut the middle out with a cutoff wheel in the Dremel, and sanded the final shape with a 1/2" sanding roll---it took me about a half hour to get a perfect fit.

Nice neat job .
That looks good, but it reminds me of a nice red Brick House that I butchered trying to cut the mag pup hole. You did pretty well.
