I really got started on "small" instruments with a strum stick. I've had a short G and a long D and loved them both. They led me to 4 string banjo which i play mostly now or a 4 string box guitar tuned like my strum stick. I often use GDGD (top down). Or DADA. I'll bet your stick sounds fantastic.

That is nice work and nice wood. I have one strum stick and though I'm not skilled, it sure sounds pretty.
Thanks. This is really one of my first tries at making musical instruments. I took a shop class at a community college to get access to power tools.
