Philco Hank Amp

Named it Philco Hank because as I was taking these photos I had an imagine of Hank Sr. sittin' next to this old truck playin' a lil ditty thru this. Hamms can sound port, 2.5 watt amp with and old school bakelite knob, 9 volt battery box, on/off led, input and output jacks, old door handle to pick it up and go. The kill switch will mute the speaker when using the output jack. All original cabinet and it houses an old 10" Philco speaker, my wife bought the cabinet/speaker for 50 cents at the Brownville Flea Market, she's a good woman :-)

    Similar, Patrick.   The one we saw had sunbeams on the top right corner.   Wish we'd had a camera.   Lots of news about Wayne, Nebraska tornado damage.   Glad your Mikey is okay.

    Photo I took coming back from the farm, this cloud formation would have been right over your house I'm thinking.

    Oh!  I missed the wolf the first time I looked at Clock's photo.   Glad on your son.  You may have had a worried night.   We had some gorgeous skies prior to the storm.  Not bad here, but the football game got postponed at the half.

    Thanks John! When I was out there last night taking some more photo's and strummin' a lil'  there was a storm brewin' to the southwest and I thought I heard Hanks voice amongst the Elms blowin' in the wind.

    P.S. The tornado that hit Wayne, Nebraska leveled the southeast end of town but spared the college, my son is fine as they rode it out in the basement of the dorms. No fatalities reported, so thankful!

    Ohhhh that is nice.   Love the photo.   Great pairing of amp an guitar.
