Hi there - This is Gail - Peter wife - What I use is a gel medium that you can get at any art store - There are many different kinds - but all art store will sell gel medium. You need to get a photocopy of a picture of a painting. They can be color or black & white photocopies. Hope this helps. I like it because once clear coated - the photo transfer lasts very well. Nice to have my own paintings transferred easily to the CBG.
Peter. i am really interested in this technique. What is the exact gel medium? and does the print need to be laser or inkjet? thanks for the help. jamie
This is actually a photo transfer of a painting that my wife painting - it will be clear coated so it should hold up well. I think it will wear nicely over time also. Thanks for the comments.
Very nice! What is your experience with the paint finish holding up against pick scrape? Just curious. I think this art would actually still look very good over time, and would age nicely with wear.

It is a photo transfer of a picture of the painting - photocopy - mirror image - transfer with gel medium right onto the wood.
Cool. When you say photo transfer, what technology do you use? Like a t shirt transfer?
