They are spaced the same as a 1 11/16" or narrow 6- string finger board. I used a pre groved nut and just cut off the upper E sting grove. The neck started off as a finish 1" x 2", I took it to the table saw and cut it to 1 7/16" x 1/2", then applied a finger board out of some scrap. Finished size is 3/4" x 1 7/16". What size wood is your neck? Is that a 1x2? If it is a 1x2, do you find that the strings are closer than usual, or does it feel like a regular guitar neck when you play? Nice job by the way.
