Side dots burned into the wood. I used a maple stain and tung oil on the wood.

    Yup string height is a thing of personal preference.

    I'm at home building gits and practicing my 3 stinger chords and scales Uncle John. I like the action on a slider a bit higher. I think it makes my sloppy playing a little less noticeable. ; )

    Beautiful neck and corners and markers.  I like a bit lower action unless I am playing (attempting to play) lap style.  Vern, are you at Cally Fest?  I want to meet you and jam.
