The delicate butterfly. Now cast in bronze and forever captive in her Art Nouveau cage, she longs for the nectar of the ripe flower which beckons, yet can never be obtained. Her struggle is echoed by the taught strings which also stain against their captor, the rigid neck. Her thirst can only be slated by the sweetness of the notes that ripple over her vulnerable body.
