Here is a Yamaha acoustic that came in a few days ago. It had been sprayed with an entire can of silver metallic paint with runs going over the sides. It also had decals and electrical tape on it prior to the paint. The customer wanted to know if I could "fix" it. I said I could get the paint off but couldn't guarantee what the end result would look like. He said he had another guitar he wanted to sell cheap. It was a "Recording King" that also had a spot of silver paint on it and a dusting of overspray on it. It apparently was a witness to the rape and murder of the Yamaha and had suffered collateral damage. I ended up taking the job of cleaning the Yamaha and taking the Recording king as payment. The following picture is the "after" shot of the Yamaha.

YUCK!
I have to be honest, when I first saw this guitar my first thought was, I've been pretty drunk before, but never that much.
I get the same thing Ron :)
