aftrer looking my self, it does look like strings are on it but its actually the wood grain, my first attempt at fretting the fret board one of the frets went in at an angle and took three giant chips out so i had to use a diferent peice of wood this is the only one i had left.

Looks good.... real good. But why or how doe it appear there are strings already on it? Not knocking that, it looks good and I am curious.
