Here is a shot of the neck and fretboard. The instrument is diatonically fretted as the majority of the instruments I make are. I have a fret 0 in addition to the nut, and 12 frets, including fret 6.5 (as does the McNally standard Strumstick). It is kind of a long reach to get to the highest pitch fret (I can do it, but a short fingered person might not). So, next time I'll try to shorten the "heel" by an inch or so.
