this is the inside of the build that I am working on - I put it together to see if everything fit (and worked) and thankfully it does sound good in the initial testing phase (i.e. pups, volume and tone work). The thing that stumps me a bit is how to get the piezos to stick to the top. I've pulled apart several CBGs that I have purchased and some pups stay in place with what looks like superglue and others don't. some just use tape. the tape didn't work so I am going to wait for some suggestions and try again before I finish and close it up.

  • I used some blue tac and its holding well, not sure if ill keep it that way,,see how long it lasts.
  • Thanks, Ellwood! I use hot glue now.... much better than tape!
  • Thanks, Phil - I appreciate the advice!!!!
  • Double sided tape works well for securing the piezo's. It's strong yet can be moved later if you want to try a different position.
