Hi, thanks for the kind words. Really sorry about the late reply, I don't go on here often enough. This (if my memory serves) is a 24'' scale fretless, I used mahogany veneer for the fret markers, and mahogany dowel for the fret dots. the strings are the three lowest from a standard four string bass, I've used a telecaster neck pickup, which gives a nice jazzy tone as I found the standard piezo setup didn't pick up much low end.
Nice job! I've never made a bass, but I'm starting on one. Can you tell me the scale you used and what kind of strings? I don't even play bass, so this is more difficult for me than the CBG's I've built.
