yeah Uncle John I`ve been using that wood for many many years. I have an old fence row out back, been harvesting tree`s from there for ever it seems...lol. Back in the day farmers around these parts used the wood for spoke wheel bearings on hay wagons and pegs for post and beam construction.
Love that grain and color, Randy. Osage interests me. It grows some in fence rows around here. The Indians used the wood for bows. It makes long lasting fence posts and neat knife hands and now slides.
