Yes uncle, scales are essential to music, but what better way to learn them than on one string. I have always been one to play what I like regardless of what others prefer, I think it’s what makes us who we are?
Cool, BQ. I know I should work on scales. This is my year to try and improve my six string play and learn some more main stream songs. I love blues and Gospel and old timey, but people want to hear old Beatles and Neil Young.
