  • Sorry, Steve.  ;)   Cool, lantern too,

  • I've been called a lot of different names in my life, but rarely Steve.

The stainless sheet was used for a punched lantern, but was a bit too thick to work with. It is sturdy enough to make slides out of.

  • Nice assortment, Steve.   Man, good job on making slides from a stainless steel sheet.

  • So I had to try and make some more slides, and the bottle neck didn't work, but I did get the stainless steel sheet to make some.

The two slides on the right are made from .24 guage Stainless steel sheet that I formed and soldered, then cleaned up to look purty. Tested them out and they sound good. Got some brass to try out next.....

  • Yup, Pick.  I intend to use it as double shot glass, but have not yet done it.

    Ha, Bruce.  True enough.

  • At least you have plenty of boxes around to store them in!

  • that  biggun  is a  dave  lynas    ,, i have  2  of them  .

  • I think I have a couple to spare :-)

  • Pat, I think you win on numbers, for sure.  I've had some of yours and seem to give them away.  I need MORE!

  • I just made a fresh batch for upcoming fests so I think I have around 80 or 90 slides at the moment. Is that too many?  ;-)

My favorite slide is a Bottleneck slide I made, something about the thick glass of the Koonunga Hill wine bottles I use (this is one of the wines we serve in our Steakhouse so I have a never ending supply of empties) that really sustains well.

My second choice is my Rocky Mountain Slides/Justin Johnson signature slide.
