Just pulled these pickups out of an old junker guitar from the 1970's(?) They look like humbuckers on the outside but not the inside. What are they?

my first guitar had these in them in 1980.,,.a cheap single coil under a humbucker cover, cause Les Paul's rule.,.,I thought these pickups were cheesy back then.,.,but still good for open tunig slide work.,.,.,.,.,
They came out of an old beat up "strat" looking guitar that looks like it had a speaker in it at one time. My first thought was "Teisco" but I haven't been able to find one that looks like it online.

I thought volume and tone control when I tested them, Steve. They are quite sensitive to vibration.

Okay, as far as I can tell these came out of a "Synsonics Terminator" (or similar guitar) with built in amplifier and speaker.
They both work. One of them is destined to be installed in a CBG when I find the time to build another.
