This is an old lap steel I took a gamble on at Ebay. It was £26. Turned out to have been hand made over 50 years ago. It was found in the loft of an old farm house in Bedfordshire and the owners of the house had lived there for at least 50 years and have no recolection of it. None of them played an instrument and they didn't even know what it was. Eventually i will get around to fixing it up.
