Oil Finish ?

This is the first time I did an oil finish. When ever I put a tuner on the headstock it removes the finish.How long should I wait until it’s safe to use a clamp on tuner?

Brought out the grain more! I like to use the manufacturer’s recommendations as a guide for anything I’m not familiar with?
