  • Fine story, Dave.  I like it even more.

  • The rustic came naturally. This was the outside edge of a big grainery beam from the waterfront. I just sanded it to something resembling smooth. The top of the guit is the other side of the cut offs. It's creamy white. The cedar sides are nice and rustic naturally also. I've got about 5 coats of wipe on poly varnish (satin). It makes her feel real nice. I played her some today and she sure rings. Nice bright and cheerful sound.
