Nova Scotia CBG design

Here's what is on the bench. I'm recycling an old Nova guitar, and turning it into a tenor. I've managed to save everything except the neck and the sides. I will be using the harmonica bridge I had Randy Bretz make for me, along with a few other little goodies. Also the image of the Bluenose will be burnt into the top...and the rest will be hand painted.

  • Thanks guys. I'm doing as well as expected John thanks for asking....been real busy making Xmas gifts and  carving walking sticks, I started missing building cbg's...so I thought ya ok a tenor cbg it is then....Thanks for the kind words everyone.

  • Oh Bluenose.  How very cool.  I made some tall ship ukes here on the left coast.  The necks were made from scrap wood from the ribs of the Matthew Turner, a wooden Brig being built here in Sausalito

  • How you doin' Reeds?   Looks good.  Man, I love tenors.
