A flurry of activity just before Christmas. The shop sold out apart from the Black Bass. Don't know why no interest as it sounds pretty good.
A bit misleading to say that my CBGs are in the shop window within the hour. The shop is only open Mon Tue Thur and Fri. Every thing is checked as I build. EG Electrics in and tested, Neck on and screwed in, Middle string on and height adjusted by which Bridge and Neck threaded rod to cut etc etc. Back into the house to put through Amps and Echo etc. Then the next time the shop is open off it will go.
Picture of latest two, A plain varnished Box and another multi wood Fruit Bowl and that pesky Bass still in the window.
Cool and good display. Good wishes on lots of sales. One thing you said elsewhere troubles me. That within an hour of being done, the gits are in the shop (for sale). Once in a while I get a git that is ready from the time it is strung up. But most take some playing and tweaking.
Thanks for the comments guys. It really was an old but in good condition I picked up at a boot fair for 20p.
Real Cigar Boxes are getting hard to find now so I'll use anything. If the Biscuit Tin sells OK well there will be lots of empty one around after Christmas.
THis is how they look in the shop window (Front window as they sell quite quickly)

Should finish another one today.

That is old timey, played, worn and loved looking.
Looks great!
