Mock-up with Elmar Flatpup pickup, hardtail bridge. Decided to try and mimic the distressing on the recycled semi-trailer flooring.

    Thanks Rick.  I may be in love with these pickups!  I noticed that Elmar has another special going thru the end of July.  I think it's two 3-string flatpups (no frame) for $50 including postage to the USA.  Pretty sweet deal....

    It looks awesome. I like what you did with the headstock, and have always liked the look of those pickups. It all works well together.

    I'm sure I'd have noticed when I tried to string 'er up!  LOL!  This is a big diversion from my CBG's and strummer-sticks, but I saw that scrap lying in the rubbish and thought - - this looks like a potential solid body!  So far, I'm thrilled with it!
