Repurposed Newcomb phonogragh. I've had this old Newcomb Phonogragh for a bit so I sat down out the cabin yeterday and did a little thinking on how to approach the repurpose into an amp. After working with the old electronics for a bit I decided to scrap them and sink a Peavey head into it. It sounds amazing, very happy with it, I believe this will be a keeper :-) Note: The phono origanally came from the Trinity Luthern School in Fremont, Nebraska. I bought it at a garage sale.

Thanks Darryl! I picked up an old 1960's Contessa tube amp yesterday to add to the amp pile. :-) I have an amp addiction it seems, some might call it hoarding. I call them investments in the future. ;-)
Wow Very Nice. Pat is that a tube amp? I also order the bass pup and got it in the mail already I don't know if I got the right one. I did not order the pair...just one, but it looks like the one you have in your box.

Pretty nifty! Nice looking case also. I'd bet that Peavey amp with the old 12" sounds better than it ever did driving the original speaker.
