Newcomb Phonogragh/Peavey Repurpose Amp

Repurposed Newcomb phonogragh. I've had this old Newcomb Phonogragh for a bit so I sat down out the cabin yeterday and did a little thinking on how to approach the repurpose into an amp. • Thanks Ron! It sounds amazing driving that old 12! WAY better than the original.  :-)

  • Pretty nifty! Nice looking case also.  I'd bet  that Peavey amp with the old 12" sounds better than it ever did driving the original speaker.

  • Thanks Darryl! I picked up an old 1960's Contessa tube amp yesterday to add to the amp pile. :-) I have an amp addiction it seems, some might call it hoarding. I call them investments in the future.  ;-)

  • 1 tidy pair maddog

  • Thanks Robin Boy Wonder.......er.... I mean Clock my Friend  :-)

  • HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!

  • Now that looks good,   Inviting too.

  • Thanks Ted! I'm really pleased with the sound, very deep/rich tone to this build.

Cool on the bass pup! I think you'll like it.

  • Wow Very Nice. Pat is that a tube amp? I also order the bass pup and got it in the mail already I don't know if I got the right one. I did not order the pair...just one, but it looks like the one  you have in your box.
