New reso

Here is my new reso. Not a CBG but definitely a home build.Based on a large (10"?) dog bowl for the resonator and a Morris hub cap for the cover.

    Thanks LBL and Juha.

    I was not sure how strong the Chinese-made neck is so I started with very light strings - '9's. I might trade up for some slightly heavy ones in due course.

    Thanks guys, it's a 3/4 I think. It cost be 99p for the donor guitar from eBay!

    I hand painted it, so it's not as good a finish as I would have hoped for if I had sprayed it. I'm happy enought though and looking forward to playing it in the shed.
