I`m doing a copper sheet fretboard on my next slab fretless, and had this thought about doing pressed in frets. Had to experiment!! yep it`s doable!! BTW..cut the sheet with my scroll saw, worked great!

    That’s ingenious. Like the plastic cast in frets on Harmony ukulellys. Copper should look nice!
