One piece cutout body/neck with Cedar top from a big plank from Woodruff Lumber. The body/neck is from the center of a tree. So the grain goes nuts on the curves.

Thanks Uncle, Monterey. I like sturdy Uncle. It will get a little thinner from the shaping sanding that fits the parts together. I freehand the plan on the plank. It takes a lot of adjusting to get it to look right. There's a lot of sawdust to come. I bring the belt sander out in the yard to escape the cedar dust.
